Soda Recipe
I sometimes get asked about the makeup of soda tablets: here is the recipe for the additive which gives that mineral salty taste (in case you find 'just bubbles' too dull. "3 grains of sodium bicarbonate, 1 1/2 grains of sodium chloride, 1/2 grain of sodium sulphate in 1 pint of water saturated with carbon dioxide under pressure".
